Welcome to the RSBag Manual! (for version 0.18)

The goal of the RSBag project is to provide specifications, libraries and tools for efficient and flexible recording and replay of RSB events. It is similar to ROSBag in this regard but not tied to a particular communication framework (however, currently only RSB is supported) or file format (currently, the TIDELog file format is supported and some support for the Elan XML file format, eaf, is available).

Note

This manual describes the development (or “master”) version of RSBag.

When possible, the most recent stable version of RSBag should be used instead. That version is described in a separate manual.
