log file

In the context of RSBag, a log file is a file into which entries are stored for later processing or replay. Entries often correspond to events exchanged between components of event-based systems.

channel

In the context of RSBag, a channel is container within a log file into which a subset of all entries of the log file are stored based on a criterion such as the data type.
